A Look Back at 2025

As 2025 draws to a close, Simon Johnson and I recorded our yearly Sailing.Dog re-cap.

The last 12 months was full of a wide range of sailing and coaching activities. We focus this year’s wrap on three campaigns. Firstly a successful World Championship campaign in the 5.5 Metre class. Then looking into the teamwork behind the custom build, commissioning and racing of Eau Vive, the lovely Howlett 6 Metre yacht. Finally a look into the Admiral’s Cup with the New Zealand team’s “small boat”, Callisto, where I acted as coach. We also got an insight into Simon’s busy year of racing some incredible yachts across oceans and in wonderful locations.
